Panelist: Lee A. Fleisher, MD, Robert D. Dripps Professor and Chair of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine
Lee's research focuses on perioperative cardiovascular risk assessment and reduction, culture of healthcare centers, health policy, decision making and measurement of quality of care and has received numerous federal, industry and foundation grants related to these subjects and has published 160+ original articles, over 200 editorials, reviews and book chapters, and 9 books.
Panelist: Anuj Shah, MD, Physician Resident, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals
Anuj is currently in his final year of training in Emergency Medicine. In 2016, Dr. Stephen Klasko, CEO of Jefferson Health, selected Anuj to serve on the editorial board of Healthcare Transformation, a peer-reviewed open access journal that delivers foremost research in re-imagining healthcare delivery, technology and innovation. In addition, Anuj has published peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters on a variety of topics including quality assurance in telehealth, design thinking in medicine, and emotional intelligence in physician residents.
Panelist: Brian Sweeney, RN, MBA, FACHE, Chief Operating Officer, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals
Brian is responsible for divisional operations across the continuum of care which includes three acute care hospitals, a 700-employed physician multi-specialty practice, and ancillary businesses generating billions in annual net revenue. He is proficient in the use of change management methodologies and is a regular speaker at national industry conferences
Panelist: Mark Switaj, Founder and CEO, Roundtrip Health
Before founding Roundtrip in 2016, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer of EmCare North Division, a clinician practice management group serving more than 1,000 affiliated clinicians and 150 facilities. Mark began his career as an EMT with American Medical Response (AMR), the nation’s largest ambulance company, before eventually leading AMR’s North Region Business Development department.
