Does Dr. King’s  Life, Legacy and Hope for America MATTER?

Why 80 days of conversation?

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s assassination in Memphis on April 4th, 1968. The time between his birth on January 15 and his murder on April 4th marks about 80 days. Conversation events will be held all over the region organized by the dozens of NewCORE’s  legacy and conversation partners.

The panel will be moderated by Rev. David Brown, professor  at Temple University

Panelists will include Dr. Leslie Callahan, Pastor, St. Paul Baptist Church, Dr. Chaz Howard, Chaplain, University of Pennsylvania, and  Maya Hairston, a senior at The Baldwin School.
